Environmental & MIL Standards
Our rugged lines are designed to meet MIL-STD-810F/G environmental requirements. If a program needs specific test methods, procedures or additional standards, tell us during quoting and we will select components and the enhancement process to match.
Designed to meet MIL-STD-810F/G environmental requirements across rackmount consoles, drawers, rackmount displays, mobile monitors and rugged mobile KVM consoles.
Available on request, designed to meet: vibration (MIL-STD-167), shock (MIL-S-901E Grade A or B) and EMI (MIL-STD-461F/G CE102, RE101, RE102, CS101, CS114, CS116, RS101 and/or RS103).
Published environmental data, such as 5–500 Hz / 1 Grms vibration and 100G / 11 ms shock (DTS-RA, DTS-RS).
Altitude: 12,500 ft operational / 40,000 ft non-operational (MMR-U173).

Chassis Build
Our rackmount consoles, drawers and monitors are built in rugged aluminum, with steel and stainless steel housings where the application calls for them. Form factor, depth and mounting are matched to the rack, the case or the vehicle.

Keyboards & Pointers
The keyboard is where the operator works, so we match layouts and pointing devices to the job, the gloves and the lighting.
Integrated layouts from 88 to 113 keys, in USB or USB / PS/2.
Pointers: 2-button glide pad, 2-button track ball, 3-button hula point or 2-button touch pad.
Keyboard-only layouts paired with an optical mouse, wireless mouse or external glide pad.
Backlit USB keyboard option for low-light operations.
NEMA 4X Q Series 97-key keyboard with 2-button glide pad.
Rugged M3 Series 103-key keyboard with 3-button FSR pointer.
Standalone 1U rackmount keyboard drawers (RDKB) in standard or transit-case depth, with optional integrated KVM switch.
KVMs & Switches
One console can control multiple computers. We build KVM switching into the drawer and match the port count and interface to the systems in your rack.
HDMI: 4, 8 or 16 ports. Locking HDMI: 4 or 8 ports.
DisplayPort: 4 ports. SPARTAN supports 4 DisplayPort ports via a DP-MST (Multi-Stream Transport) hub.
VGA: 4, 8 or 16 ports (USB or USB / PS/2), including a VGA (DB18) 4-port option.
DVI: 4 or 8 ports. RJ45: 8 or 16 ports (requires additional RJ45 KVM switch modules).
Secure KVM: DisplayPort 4-port, USB / NIAP 3 (D3). / DisplayPort 4-port, USB / NIAP 4 (D4).
CAC card reader available for added access security.
Video inputs available when no KVM is needed (V43x: HDMI x1 / DisplayPort x1 / VGA x1).
Video Controllers & Inputs
The video controller board determines which inputs the display accepts. We offer several boards, so the display connects directly to your existing sources.
V43x (standard): HDMI / DisplayPort / VGA, FHD 1920x1080 @60Hz.
V46x: 4K HDMI / DisplayPort.
V35x: HDMI, DVI-D or 3G-SDI, plus VGA / DisplayPort.
12G-SDI inputs on select rackmount displays and the 55" MM550 (V36SDI).
V38x multi-view: picture-in-picture, picture-by-picture, quad view and daisy chain.
V49x: HDMI / USB-C / DisplayPort.
Panel PCs: USB, DVI-I, HDMI, DisplayPort, RS232 and RJ45, depending on model.
End Connections & Cables
Connections are part of the build. We match power and signal connectors and cable lengths to the installation, so the unit is ready to connect on arrival.
C90 military-style circular power connectors: 2-pin DC (C90DC) and 3-pin AC (C90AC). Standard C14 AC also available.
DC 12V power input standard on rackmount consoles and drawers; 4-pin XLR 12VDC and V-Mount / Gold Mount battery options on mobile monitors.
Matched KVM cable sets for each interface: DisplayPort/USB, VGA/PS/2, VGA/USB, VGA/USB/Audio, DVI/USB/Audio and HDMI/USB/Audio.
KVM cables in 6 ft, 10 ft or 16 ft lengths.
Connector type and location can be changed to suit the installation; cable glands available for sealed entry.
